Happy 2017! Welcome to the (Peace &) Love Month of February! It's Valentine's time again and what better way to celebrate the day of hearts with a splash of Scarlet.
I'm happy to be back in the swing of posting again. I've begun a new schedule for myself which should have me reaching the completion of scanning all of the remaining issues of Scarlet Street by the end of this year. I still plan on posting them through to the end of 2019, but I've been thinking of accelerating my behind-the-scenes process. That way, I have a back-up of data ready to go if necessary, as I really want this project to reach its conclusion without anything to hamper it. At the same time, I really don't want the posting rushed and that's why I also wish to stick to the current schedule.
For this issue, I noticed that I already had downloaded interesting photos for "The Mask of Fu Manchu" yet still managed to find a few more, so I know of the importance to keep checking on the internet. This is also another good reason not to rush the posting for all of the final issues too soon. We don't know what we will find out there from now until the end of this project!
That should do it for now, as we reach a 20th Anniversary milestone for today's posting. (It was sometime in early 1997 when #24 came out.) Until next time, which will be for the Green Spring Day of St. Patrick's, enjoy the Peace...and let the Love of February warm the chill away from you on these final weeks of Winter 2017.
