Happy February, everyone, with much love and anticipation for the new year! We come to that early 1994 - 3rd Anniversary issue (now up to 116 pages including the covers), which by the time it was ready to print, Vincent Price had passed away at the age of 82 the previous October. There was a tribute to him, but I believe the issue that honored him more (as it was supposed to) was the earlier #7 from the Summer of 1992, which he himself could enjoy while he was still with us.
To grace lucky #13, Richard Valley gives us an appreciation for what he believed was Basil Rathbone's greatest film as that grand detective in "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" [1939]. Friends and co-stars, Ida Lupino & Terry Kilburn contribute their memories as well to this, in itself, memorable issue with the somewhat unusual 'golden-like' trim.
