No. 11 / Summer 1993

"Happy Fangsgiving!"  I believe that was Forry Ackerman's wish for all during this time of year and coming from the pages of Famous Monsters of Filmland.  On the 24th we celebrated Forry's 99th birthday, and I was able to reminisce about the last time I spent time with him in-person for his 89th birthday celebration ten years ago.  It was also the last time I got to see Richard Valley & Tom Amorosi as well and so I'm taking with me today all of those fantastic memories and remembering what is, and who are, true and wonderful reasons to be thankful.

AFTERWORD:
While Scarlet Street was advertising in that other fun magazine "Cult Movies" I believe it appeared only one time in "Famous Monsters of Filmland" (Grand come-back Issue #200) dated May of 1993, and with a different looking presentation.  Oh, what a promising time it was!
